Lucknow: Cane & Sugar/Registrar Cooperative cane Development Societies has removed Shri Brij Bhushan Nehra, Chairman, Cooperative cane Development Society Modinagar- Ghaziabad from the post of Director.
Detailed information in this regard, the Cane Commissioner/Registrar said that, Shri Nehra found guilty of misusing his position for supplying illegal cane and violating Satta policy, taking fake membership, tearing official records with his colleagues at Modinagar society and for calling outsiders in board meetings for pressurizing board decisions.
Per report of investigation Officer and in pursuit of the relevant facts, Shri Nehra, was found to be guilty of violating the provisions and bye-laws of Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act 1965, and related Rules, 1968, and removed from post with immediate effect. As a result of this Shri Nehra will automatically loose the post of Chairman.
It has been made clear by the Commissioner, Cane and Sugar/Registrar Cooperative Cane Development Societies Lucknow that If a state official or an outsider causes undue interference in Government work, strict action will be taken against him.
