Bihar received ethanol investment proposals more than Rs 30,000 crore : Minister

New Delhi: Bihar Industry Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that the government has received ethanol investment proposals of Rs 30,322 crore as state has become favourite industrial destination.

He was speaking at a press conference to share the details about the โ€˜Investors Meetโ€™ organized to attract investment in the state.

โ€œWe have received investment proposals worth Rs 30,322 crore under the Bihar Ethanol Production Promotion Policy 2021. Bihar will soon become the countryโ€™s ethanol hub as 17 ethanol production units will be set up in different parts of the state in the first phase. The first-ever greenfield grain-based ethanol project in the country has been set up in Purnea after launching Ethanol Policy 2021,โ€ minister further added.
