тЧ╛ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at тВ╣3740 to 3800/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are тВ╣3371 to 3511/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at тВ╣3481 to 3601/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are тВ╣3550 to 3625/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at тВ╣3600 to 3675/Qntl.

Yesterday sugar sugar prices closed lower on weakness in crude prices and the Brazilian Real London White Sugar closed at $500.80/ton down $1.40 whereas New York Sugar closed at 18.94 cents per pound down 0.03 points.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $504.10/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.10/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 74891 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6998 Crude futures traded at Rs.6243 Crude WTI traded at $83.14 a barrel. Sensex closed 101.88 points lower at 60,821.62 whereas Nifty ended 63.20 points lower at 18,114.90.
