Herbicide Hola launched by Crystal Crop helps sugarcane farmers to protect their crops from weeds and increase their income.
The company has targeted the sugarcane farmers from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh that are facing problems due to weeds.
The herbicide is tested at several agricultural universities in the country and the company has conducted more than 2000 demonstrations for sugarcane farmers in the last five years.
The herbicide attacks weeds having narrow leaves, broadleaf weeds, and sedges which are creating major problems for sugarcane farmers.
C S Shukla, Senior Vice-President (Strategic Marketing), Crystal Crop said, “Sugarcane will be playing a major role in Indian agriculture and economy in future and keeping this in mind we have launched this new herbicide developed by our R&D team for the farmers.”
The herbicide will be available for cane farmers in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
