Panaji: A detailed project report on ethanol production at Sanjivani Sahkari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd (SSKL) at Dharbandora has been submitted to Narendra Sawaikar, who is heading the 21-member Sugarcane Farmers Facilitation Committee, reports The Times of India.
The report has been prepared by the Deccan Sugar technology Association (India).
As per news report published in The Times of India, Sawaikar, a former MP said, тАЬThe state governmentтАЩs department for public-private partnership will scrutinize the DPR and will take a decision on it regarding floating an expression of interest to set up an ethanol production plant at Dharbandora.”
He said, тАЬThe center is supporting ethanol production and we also have same thing in mind. The team of experts has submitted a copy of the DPR after the presentation and the copy will be now submitted to the government.тАЭ
