Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Limited has commissioned a 175 LK per day distillery at its Dwarikesh-Dham (Faridpur) unit in the Bareilly district.
The company in its regulatory filing has stated that the plant was commissioned on June 24, 2022. The company will be using sugarcane juice syrup and ‘B’ heavy molasses as feedstock for ethanol production.
With this, the distillery capacity of the company has been increased to 337.5 KL per day. The company plans to double ethanol production and moderate sugar production.
