Benchmark indices ended higher today. On November 1, Sensex closed 374.76 points higher at 61,121.35, whereas Nifty ended 133.20 points up at 18,145.40.
In the previous season,┬а on October 31, Sensex closed 786.74 points higher at 60,746.59, whereas Nifty ended 225.40 points up at 18,012.20.
Among sectors, Power, Metal, Pharma and Information Technology indices up 2 percent each, while Realty index up 1 percent.
