Sriganganagar: Sugar production at the Rajasthan State Ganganagar Sugar Mill is likely to increase this season, reports Bhaskar.
Sugar recovery this season likely to remain at 13 kg per quintal as against 11 kg last season. The sugar mill has started preparations and the officials are busy in conducting the final survey of sugarcane production. The mill is likely to start operations in mid-December.
Sugar output from the mill was lower during the last three years. The sugar recovery during this period varied from 9% to 11% but in the current season it may increased.
