Philippines: New acting SRA board member appointed to represent sugarcane planters

Metro Manila: David Andrew Lizares Sanson has been appointed as an acting board of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., reports CNNPhilippines.

As per his appointment paper dated June 15, Sanson will represent sugar planters.

“You are hereby appointed as an Acting member, representing the sugar planters, sugar board, Sugar Regulatory Administration, vice David John Thaddeus P. Alba,” stated the paper released to the media on Wednesday.

The Department of Agriculture controls and runs the SRA which is ultimately headed by Marcos.
