Indian equity indices ended lower on July 17.
Sensex ended 375.24 points lower at 82,259.24, whereas Nifty concluded 100.60 points up at 25,111.45.
Biggest Nifty losers were Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, SBI Life Insurance, Wipro, while gainers included Tata Consumer, Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, Trent, M&M.
Indian rupee ended 13 paise lower at 86.07 per dollar on Thursday versus Wednesday’s close of 85.94.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 63.57 points higher at 82,634.48, whereas Nifty concluded 16.25 points up at 25,212.05.
