Indian equity indices ended lower on October 13.
Sensex ended 173.77 points lower at 82,327.05, whereas Nifty concluded 58.00 points down at 25,227.35.
Tata Motors, Infosys, Wipro, Nestle, HUL were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ports, Shriram Finance and Bajaj Finance.
Indian rupee ended flat at 88.67 per dollar on Monday versus Friday’s close of 88.69.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 328.72 points higher at 82,500.82, whereas Nifty concluded 103.55 points up at 25,285.35.
