Indian stock markets ended lower on Friday.
Sensex ended 465.75 points lower at 83,938.71, whereas Nifty concluded 155.75 points down at 25,722.10.
Indian rupee ended lower at 88.77 per dollar on Friday versus Thursday’s close of 88.70.
Bharat Electonics, Eicher Motors, Shriram Finance, L&T, TCS were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Cipla, Eternal, Max Healthcare, NTPC, Interglobe Aviation.
In the previous, Sensex ended 592.67 points lower at 84,404.46, whereas Nifty concluded 176.05 points down at 25,877.85.
