Maharashtra shortlists Findability Sciences to strengthen sugarcane value chain and agri-AI innovation

Findability Sciences Pvt Ltd has been shortlisted for innovation funding and strategic support by the Government of Maharashtra under the Maha Agri-AI Policy 2025тАУ2029, a state initiative aimed at expanding the use of Artificial Intelligence and other advanced digital technologies across agriculture, Agro Spectrum reported.

The Maha Agri-AI Policy outlines a plan to promote technology-driven farming, improve productivity, strengthen climate resilience and raise farm incomes. The state government aims to position Maharashtra as a leader in AI-based agricultural innovation while supporting long-term growth in rural communities. The policy also aligns with the national Viksit Bharat@2047 vision and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Findability Sciences has been selected for the final round of state-level approval in recognition of its work in enterprise AI, data analytics and sector-focused digital solutions. The company develops tools that support predictive decision-making, operational improvement and data-driven insights.

Through Stomata Labs, its AI-focused division, the company provides solutions designed for agriculture and sugar mill operations. The platform integrates farm, factory and commercial data to help improve crop performance, enhance mill efficiency and support better planning across the sugar value chain.

Anand Mahurkar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Findability Sciences, said the recognition reflects the companyтАЩs focus on delivering practical AI solutions for agriculture and industry. He said the firmтАЩs work ranges from crop forecasting to process improvement and is aimed at helping farmers increase yields and mill operators improve performance.

Findability Sciences said it has experience in building AI-based decision systems that improve efficiency and performance across agriculture, manufacturing and other sectors. The company stated that its tools combine predictive analytics and operational systems to help organisations make informed and timely decisions.
