Tanzania: Kilombero Sugar Company Ltd (KSCL) has set a target of production of 127,000 tonnes of sugar by crushing 1,328,445 tonnes of cane for the season 2020-21.
According to the media report, Warda Kimaro, trade marketing manager of KSCL said this is part of the factoryโs mission to stabilise sugar prices in the country.
He shared his thoughts during the official launch of the companyโs โBwana Sukariโ, a pack of 5kg sugar in Dodoma Region. Kimaro said, โThe Company is doing hard work to make sure that the sugar is produced to its maximum capacity and caters to the needs of the consumerโ
โWe are aware about the taste of the consumers and are committed to produce hygienic sugar in various sizes of the packs,โ he further added.
