The Government of Andhra Pradesh and AM Green Group have signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) worth Rs. 54,000 crore at the CII Partnership Summit in Vizag on November 14.
AM Green will invest Rs. 44,000 crore in Kakinada (Uppada) to set up a 1-million-tonne-per-annum Green Aluminium Complex in two phases, along with one of the world’s largest RFNBO-compliant Green Ammonia facilities of the same scale. Additionally, company will invest ₹10,000 crore to establish multiple biorefineries of 2G ethanol and a 180 KTPA Sustainable Aviation Fuel plant across Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Anakapalli. This will create an integrated “farm to flight” ecosystem positioning North Andhra Pradesh as a global destination for next-generation biofuels.
