Amroha: The Sugarcane Department has completed the survey for the upcoming crushing season 2025–26. Officials have announced that the sugarcane “verification” (area verification/Satta pradarshan) display will begin from July 20. Preparations are underway, and department officials have started contacting farmers to ensure the accuracy of the records, reported Live Hindustan.
District Cane Officer (DCO) Manoj Kumar has urged farmers to carefully check their area details during the display period and correct any errors found in their survey data to avoid issues in the future.
The cane survey in the district was completed on June 30. Data feeding for the survey is now in progress.
DCO Manoj Kumar confirmed that any farmer who finds discrepancies in their survey can file an objection to have it corrected. The verification display will continue for 30 days, concluding on August 20. During this period, all details recorded during the survey, including land area, cane crop type (plant, ratoon), and more, will be displayed in villages for verification by farmers.
