Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: Baghpat Ganna Samiti Chairman Pradeep Thakur met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow and demanded expansion of the Baghpat sugar mill.
He urged the Chief Minister to double the capacity of the sugar mill and set up a new modern plant to ensure better benefits for farmers in the region and to streamline the sugarcane crushing process.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured Thakur that all issues would be taken up on a priority basis and that he would instruct the concerned departments to ensure that development in Baghpat continues without hindrance.
