Bhagalpur: Inauguration of foundation stone laying programme of ethanol plant having capacity of 60, 0000 litres per day spreading over 7.3 acres in Sahu Parbatta locality of Naugachhia subdivision was done by the State-industries minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday, reports The Times of India.
The cost of the project is around Rs 95 crore. The project has been launched under the Mukhya Mantri Udyami Yojana targeting to promote entrepreneurs from scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward communities.
This plant will produce ethanol using maize and would boost the industrial growth of the region, said Hussain. The project would generate employment in the region and provide jobs to local qualified, skilled, and unskilled workers, he said.
As per media report, the plant would produce 60,000 liters of ethanol per day,
