Domestic Market
Domestic prices were reported stable
After a firm session, domestic sugar prices in major markets were reported stable. As per the market sources, the demand is said to be good, which is supporting the prices. In addition to lower availability of sugar, rumors of increasing MSP is supporting the sentiment in the spot markets.
S-grade sugar in Kolhapur costs between Rs 3,420 and 3,460 per quintal, whereas M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar costs Rs 3,830 to 3,880. Agrimandi.live predicts that the price of Kolhapur S-grade sugar will fall between Rs 3,360 and Rs 3,480 per quintal in the near future.

The rupee traded against the US dollar at 85.869 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 6.1315, Crude WTI traded at $73.48 barrel. Sensex closed 528.28 points down at 77,620.21 whereas Nifty closed 162.45 points lower at 23,526.50
