Domestic Market
Domestic prices saw mixed sentiment

Domestic sugar prices witnessed a mixed sentiment today in the major spot markets. Prices were reported higher by Rs 5-10 per quintal in Uttar Pradesh while traded lower in Maharashtra and Karnataka. As per the market sources, despite the lower monthly quota, buying interest is reported to be dull.

In North India, M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar was quoted at ₹4,040–₹4,120 per quintal, higher from the previous session. Meanwhile, in western India, S-grade sugar prices in Kolhapur were reported at ₹3,700–₹3,730 per quintal, supported by sluggish buying interest.
