Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 09/07/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 9th July 2025

Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were reported weak

Domestic sugar prices in the major markets were reported to be weak. Prices were reported to be lower by Rs 10-20 per quintal. Prices were reported lower by Rs 10 per quintal over Uttar Pradesh and lower by Rs 10-20 per quintal in Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Heavy rainfall activity in Central and parts of India has impacted the trading activity to some extent. Demand is said to be very weak, although monthly quota was lower but off take is very sluggish which is keeping prices under control.

M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,860 and Rs 3,940 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar, whereas S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,710 and Rs 3,740 in Kolhapur.
