The market witnessed moderate demand. Sugar prices remained stable. .
State wise Prices as on 9th September 2021 :
โพ Maharashtra: S/30 Sugar rates from millers are โน3350 to โน3450/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at โน3520 to 3600/Qntl.
โพ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were โน3420 to 3460/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at โน3500 to 3570/Qntl.
โพ Uttar Pradesh: The rate for M/30 is โน3550 to 3600/Qntl.
โพ Gujarat : S/30 Sugar rates were โน3471 to 3501/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at โน3581 to 3601/Qntl.
โพ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates were at โน3600 to 3700/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates were at โน3650 to 3700/Quintal.

International Market:
Yesterdayโs Closing:
On Wednesday sugar prices closed mixed. London White Sugar closed at $481.50/ton down $1.10 whereas New York Sugar closed up 0.01 points at 19.49 cents per pound.
Market Today :
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $474.30/tn whereas the New York Sugar is trading at 19.25/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices: The rupee traded against the US dollar at 73.552 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.2898 Crude futures traded at Rs.5075, Crude WTI traded at $69.03 a barrel. Sensex closed 54.81 points higher at 58,305.87 whereas Nifty ended 15.75 points higher at 17,369.25
