ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 10th June 2025
Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices remained stable to weak.
Domestic sugar prices were found to be stable or low in the major markets. Prices remained stable in Maharashtra and Karnataka, but dropped by Rs 10-20 per quintal in Uttar Pradesh. According to sources, the quota allocation in Uttar Pradesh was higher, which pushed up prices.
Demand appears to be weak, which is putting downward pressure on prices. Demand remains low, and sentiment seems to be deteriorating.
M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,890 and Rs 4,000 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar, and S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,715 and Rs 3,770 in Kolhapur.
