Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were reported stable to weak

Domestic sugar prices were reported to be stable to weak across major markets. Prices eased further by ₹10–20 per quintal across the major markets, as sluggish demand persisted at elevated price levels. Despite the recent softness, an underlying firmness in regional prices continues to be observed.

In Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), M-grade sugar is quoted between ₹4,060 and ₹4,120 per quintal, while in Kolhapur (Maharashtra), S-grade sugar is trading in the range of ₹3,830–₹3,870 per quintal.

International Market

At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #The 5 front month contract is trading at $451-80 ton, whereas the New York Sugar # 11 The front month contract is trading at 16.25 c/lb. The corn futures market trades at 416-6 and the ethanol Chicago trades at 1.83250s

Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices

The rupee traded against the US dollar at 88.672 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.3670 Crude WTI traded at $60.66 a barrel. Sensex closed 328.72 points up at 82,500.82 whereas Nifty closed 103.55 points higher at 25,285.35.
