Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 12/03/2026

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 12th Mar 2026

Domestic Market
Domestic prices stable to weak

Domestic sugar prices witnessed a steady to weak sentiment today in the major spot markets. Prices were reported lower by Rs 5-10 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar. As per the market sources, despite the lower monthly quota, buying interest is reported to be dull, which is keeping prices range-bound despite the expected lower production.

In North India, M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar was quoted at ₹4,030–₹4,110 per quintal, lower by Rs 10 per quintal compared to the previous session. Meanwhile, in western India, S-grade sugar prices in Kolhapur were reported at ₹3,700–₹3,730 per quintal, supported by sluggish buying interest.
