тЧ╛ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were тВ╣3375 to 3440/Qntl. whereas M/30 тВ╣3500 to 3575/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at тВ╣3720 to 3750/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are тВ╣3391 to 3501/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at тВ╣3491 to 3591
тЧ╛ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are тВ╣3620 to 3675/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at тВ╣3700 to 3725/Qntl.

On Friday sugar sugar prices closed higher on strength in crude prices. London White Sugar closed at $521.90/ton whereas New York Sugar closed down at 20.33 cents per pound.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $521.90/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 20.27/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 75.505 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5367 Crude futures traded at Rs.6114 Crude WTI traded at $80.94 a barrel. Sensex closed 148.53 points higher at 60,284.31 whereas Nifty ended 46 points higher at 17991.95.
