Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 14/07/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 14th July 2025

Domestic Market

Domestic sugar prices were stable to weak

Domestic sugar prices in key markets were reported to be constant or lower due to slow demand. Prices were estimated to be Rs 20-30 per quintal lower in the major Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh markets. Rainfall activity resumed after a brief hiatus across the Southern states, which should keep demand low.

Heavy rains in Central and Western India have disrupted business operations. Demand is claimed to be low; despite the lower monthly allotment, offtake is exceptionally slow, keeping prices in check.

M-grade sugar prices between Rs 3,840 and Rs 3,920 a quintal in Muzaffarnagar, and S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,700 and Rs 3,730 in Kolhapur.
