Domestic sugar prices were stable to higher
Domestic sugar prices in key markets were reported to be constant or higher due to some buying activity. Prices were reported to be Rs 5 per quintal higher in the major Maharashtra, and Karnataka markets but remained stable in Uttar Pradesh. Rainfall activity resumed after a brief hiatus across the Southern states, which should keep demand low.
