Domestic sugar prices traded stable to higher
Domestic sugar prices traded stable to higher. Prices were reported steady over Maharashtra and Karnataka while were traded higher by Rs 10-20 per quintal in Northern India. Above normal temperature or heat waves are helping domestic prices in Northern India.
In Kolhapur, S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,750 and Rs 3,800 per quintal, while M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,970 and Rs 4,080 in Muzaffarnagar.

International Market
At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $493.20 ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 17.67 c/lb. The corn futures market trades at 449-2 and the ethanol Chicago trades at 1.72000s
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 85.539 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6997 Crude WTI traded at $61.78 barrel. Sensex closed 200.15 points down at 82330.59 whereas Nifty closed 42.30 points lower at 25019.80
