Domestic Market

Domestic sugar prices traded weak on sluggish off take

Domestic sugar prices traded weaker. Prices were reported lower by Rs 5-10 per quintal Maharashtra, Karnataka while were traded lower by Rs 10-20 per quintal in Northern India. Sluggish demand is weighing on sugar prices. Good rains over South India and parts pf Maharashtra os keeping buying interest lower.

In Kolhapur, S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,745 and Rs 3,800 per quintal, while M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,960 and Rs 4,070 in Muzaffarnagar.
