Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 18/02/2026

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 18th Feb 2026

Domestic Market
Domestic prices traded steady to weak

Domestic sugar prices were reported steady to slightly weak in today’s session. Prices saw a decline of Rs 10-20 per quintal in Maharashtra and Karnataka, while in Uttar Pradesh, prices remained stable. As news of the sugar MSP is fading, prices have remained in a broader range over the last 10-12 trading sessions.

However, with the forecast of above normal temperatures by IMD is likely to keep overall demand stronger.

In North India, the Muzaffarnagar market witnessed a balanced spot scenario, with M-grade sugar quoted at ₹4,040–₹4,150 per quintal, unchanged from the previous session. Similarly, in Kolhapur—a key benchmark market—S-grade sugar traded steady at ₹3,700–₹3,750 per quintal.
