Domestic sugar prices remained stable
Domestic sugar prices remained largely stable after witnessing weakness over the past five to six sessions. Demand continues to stay sluggish as festive demand is already met, keeping overall sentiment muted. Moreover, with the commencement of the crushing season expected after Diwali, prices remained under pressure amid expectations of improved supplies.
In Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), M-grade sugar was quoted in the range of тВ╣4,030тАУтВ╣4,100 per quintal, while in Kolhapur (Maharashtra), S-grade sugar traded between тВ╣3,800 and тВ╣3,840 per quintal.
