Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were reported stable
Domestic sugar prices in the major markets were reported to be stable after a fall during yesterday’s session. As per the sources, demand is reported to be sluggish which is weighing on the prices. Prices are trading close to three month low.
M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,920 and Rs 3,990 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar, and S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,700 and Rs 3,740 in Kolhapur. As the lean season starts with depleting stocks, prices may remain supported at the current levels or may inch trading higher slowly in the coming days.
