Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 25/12/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 25th Dec 2025

Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were mostly stable

Domestic sugar prices were reported to be steady across key regions. Trading activity was reported to be dull due to the Christmas holiday. Additionally, the gap between export realizations and relatively higher domestic price levels is expected to continue weighing on overall market sentiment. Spot prices in major physical markets reflected this subdued tone.

In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, M-grade sugar was quoted in the range of โ‚น3,950โ€“โ‚น4,020 per quintal. Meanwhile, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, S-grade sugar traded slightly lower at โ‚น3,610โ€“โ‚น3,660 per quintal, extending the gradual decline observed over recent sessions.
