Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices traded stable
After declining since mid-October, domestic sugar prices have stabilised over the past two to three sessions. Prices continue to hover at current levels amid weak demand, with no major festive demand in sight, despite a lower monthly release quota. Market sentiment remains subdued as the sugarcane crushing season is set to commence soon, raising expectations of increased supply in the coming weeks.
In regional markets, M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) was quoted at тВ╣3,940тАУ4,000 per quintal, while S-grade sugar in Kolhapur (Maharashtra) traded in the range of тВ╣3,740тАУ3,780 per quintal.

Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 88.684 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.3785 Crude WTI traded at $59.93 a barrel. Sensex closed 592.67 points down at 84,404.46 whereas Nifty closed 176.05 points higher at 25,877.85.
