Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 31/12/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 31st Dec 2025

Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were steady

Domestic sugar prices were reported steady across the major markets. As prices have fallen sharply since the start of the crushing season, they are expected to take support around these levels especially over Maharashtra and Karnataka. As spread is still wide between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra they may remain under pressure.

Spot prices in key physical markets reflected this subdued tone. In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, M-grade sugar was quoted in the range of ₹3,930–₹4,000 per quintal. Meanwhile, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, S-grade sugar traded marginally lower at ₹3,580–₹3,640 per quintal.
