Dwarikesh Sugar Q4 Results: Net profit doubles to Rs 46.3 crore

Dwarikesh Sugar Industries released its financial results for the January–March quarter of FY2024-25 (Q4FY25) on Thursday, May 22, reporting a 101% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs. 46.33 crore, up from around Rs. 23 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations for the quarter reached at around Rs. 458 crore. Alongside the results, the company also announced a final dividend for FY25. In a regulatory filing, Dwarikesh Sugar stated, “The Board of Directors has recommended Dividend @ 50% on equity shares (FV of Re.1 per share) i.e. Rs. 0.50/- per share for the year ended March 31, 2025, subject to approval of the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.”

The company clarified that the dividend, if approved, will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members or are listed as beneficial owners in depository records as of the Record Date—Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Dwarikesh Sugar also announced that its 31st AGM will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the company’s registered office. In connection with this, the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will remain closed from Wednesday, August 13 to Tuesday, August 19, 2025 (both days inclusive) for AGM proceedings and to determine eligibility for the proposed dividend.
