Equity benchmark indices opened in the green on Tuesday at a record high with Sensex up by 382.31 points and Nifty up by 108 points.
At 9:30 am, the 30-scrip BSE Sensex was up by 382.31 points or 0.62 per cent at 62147.90. Similarly, 50-scrip NSE Nifty was trading at 18585.00, at 9:30 am, up by 108 points or 0.58 per cent.
At 10:05 am, it was trading 14.80 points or 0.58 per cent higher at 61,780.39.
Similarly, the Nifty was trading flat by 2.60 points lower to 18,474.45.
L&T was the top gainer in the Sensex pack, rising around 3 per cent, followed by Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, HUL, Axis Bank and Bharti Airtel.
On the other hand, ITC, UltraTech Cement, Titan, PowerGrid and Kotak Bank were among the laggards.
