Pilibhit: LH Sugar Mill will provide improved sugarcane seeds to farmers for sowing. The decision in this regard was taken unanimously at a meeting held at the office of the Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee in Pilibhit, Amar Ujala reported.
The meeting was chaired by committee president Digvijay Singh, during which the minutes of the last meeting were reviewed. Members were also briefed on the remaining budget for the financial year 2026–27 and expenditures incurred between November and January.
The assistant general manager of LH Sugar Mill informed the committee that the mill would make advanced sugarcane seeds available to farmers for planting, a proposal that received the approval of all members. The mill was also instructed to provide information related to sugarcane procurement at the committee office.
Vice Chairman Jagdish Chandra, Satyaprakash Gangwar, Bhajanlal Gangwar, Vijay Pal, Dharmapal, Mohan Singh, Shripal, and several others were present at the meeting.
