Tamkuhiroad, Khusinagar (UP): A trade union membership drive was held on Friday evening at the United Sugar Mill in Sevarahi, during which a majority of employees expressed their support for the Sugar Mill Employees’ Union.
Out of a total workforce of 370 employees, 274 workers collected membership receipts, indicating their consent to join the union and their confidence in its leadership.
Following the membership exercise, Rajendra Mishra was unanimously elected as the president of the union, while Mujibuddin Ansari was chosen as the secretary.
Several union leaders and members were present on the occasion, including Chandrabhan Rai, vice-president Ramesh Kumar, Manoj Kumar Singh, Durg Vijay Singh, Sanjeev Singh, and Ajay Mishra.
