Preparations for the upcoming sugarcane crushing season are in full swing at Sarjoo Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited, Belraya. On Sunday, Nodal Officer and Cane Commissioner Ministy S, along with CDO Abhishek Kumar and ADM Narendra Bahadur Singh, inspected the mill and reviewed the progress of repair and maintenance work, reported Live Hindustan.
During the visit, the commissioner toured the mill premises and conducted a detailed review of the machinery in the mill house, boiler house, power house and centrifugal house.
Chief Manager Rajesh Kumar informed that servicing of the turbine and alternator has been completed. A trial run is scheduled for October 15, followed by a master trial in the first week of November. Full operations are expected to begin by November 15.
The commissioner directed officials to ensure that stoppages and breakdowns during operations are kept to a minimum by completing all repair and maintenance work on time and with quality. He also inspected the functioning of the bagasse elevator, cross carrier and auxiliary carrier, testing the machinery to check its performance.
