Indian equity indices ended lower on September 15.
Sensex ended 118.96 points lower at 81,785.74, whereas Nifty concluded 44.80 down up at 25,069.20.
Jio Financial, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finance, Eternal, Adani Ports were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Shriram Finance, Asian Paints, M&M, Cipla, Dr Reddy’s Labs.
Indian rupee ended higher at 88.21 per dollar on Monday versus Friday’s close of 88.27.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 355.98 points higher at 81,904.70, whereas Nifty concluded 108.50 points up at 25,114.00.
