Indian equity indices continued a bullish rally for third day with Nifty closing at 25,418.90 on January 27.
Sensex rose 221.69 points to close at 82,566.37, whereas Nifty concluded 76.15 points up 25,418 . 90.
Biggest Nifty gainers were Tata Steel, L&T, Axis Bank, TMPV and NTPC while losers included Asian Paint, Indigo, SBI Life, Maruti and Tata Consumers.
Indian rupee ended lower at 91.95 per dollar on Thursday versus previous close of 91.79.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 487.20 points higher at 82,344.68, whereas Nifty concluded 167.35 points up 25,342.75.
