Indian equity indices ended on a weak note with Nifty at 25,750 on December 10.
Sensex ended 275.01 points lower at 84,391.27, whereas Nifty concluded 81.65 points down at 25,758.00.
Indian rupee closed 9 paise lower at 89.97 per dollar on Wednesday versus previous close of 89.88.
Eicher Motors, Hindalco, HDFC Life, Tata Steel and Adani Ports were among the top gainers on the Nifty; while losers were InterGlobe Aviation, Eternal (Zomato), Trent, Bharti Airtel and Apollo Hospitals.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 436.41 points lower at 84,666.28, whereas Nifty concluded 120.90 points down at 25,839.65.
