Indian equity indices ended with gains on September 9.
Sensex ended 314.02 points higher at 81,101.32, whereas Nifty concluded 95.45 points up at 24,868.60.
Infosys, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Eternal, Trent, Jio Financial, Tata Motors, Titan Company.
Indian rupee ended higher at 88.11 per dollar on Tuesday versus Friday’s close of 88.26.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 76.54 points higher at 80,787.30, whereas Nifty concluded 32.15 points up at 24,773.15.
