The Indian equity indices ended lower on October 24.
Sensex ended 344.52 points lower at 84,211.88, whereas Nifty concluded 96.25 points down at 25,795.15.
Cipla, HUL, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Max Healthcare, UltraTech Cement were among top losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Hindalco, Bharti Airtel, Shriram Finance, ICICI Bank.
Indian rupee ended flat at 87.85 per dollar on Friday versus previous close of 87.85.
In the previous, Sensex ended 130.05 points higher at 84,556.40, whereas Nifty concluded 20.30 points up at 25,888.90.
