The Indian equity indices ended higher on October 29.
Sensex ended 368.98 points higher at 84,997.13, whereas Nifty concluded 117.70 points down at 26,053.90.
Adani Enterprises, Power Grid Corp, NTPC, Adani Ports, JSW Steel were among biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Dr Reddy’s Labs, Bharat Electronics, Eternal, M&M, Coal India.
Indian rupee ended with marginal gains at 88.20 per dollar on Wednesday versus Tuesday’s close of 88.26.
In the previous, Sensex ended 150.69 points lower at 84,628.16, whereas Nifty concluded 29.85 points down at 25,936.20.
