Indian equity indices ended on a weak note on December 9.
Sensex ended 436.41 points lower at 84,666.28, whereas Nifty concluded 120.90 points down at 25,839.65.
Indian rupee ended higher by paise 21 at 89.88 per dollar on Tuesday versus previous close of 90.09.
Biggest Nifty losers were Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Interglobe Aviation, while gainers included Titan Company, Shriram Finance, Adani Enterprises, Eternal, Bharat Electronics.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 609.68 points lower at 85,102.69, whereas Nifty concluded 225.90 points down at 25,960.55.
