Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 ended higher on November 20.
Sensex ended 446.21 points higher at 85,632.68, whereas Nifty concluded 139.50 points up at 26,192.15.
Indian rupee ended lower by 12 paise at 88.70 per dollar on Thursday versus previous close of 88.58.
Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries, Tech Mahindra were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Asian Paints, HCL Technologies, Titan Company, Apollo Hospitals and Tata Steel.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 513.45 points lower at 85,186.47, whereas Nifty concluded 142.60 points down at 26,052.65.
