Indian benchmark indices ended on a positive note on July 29.
Sensex ended 446.93 points higher at 81,337.95, whereas Nifty concluded 140.20 points up at 24,821.10.
Biggest Nifty gainers included Jio Financial, Reliance Industries, L&T, Asian Paints, Eicher Motors, while losers were SBI Life Insurance, TCS, Axis Bank, HDFC Life, Titan.
Indian rupee ended lower at 86.82 per dollar on Tuesday versus Monday’s close of 86.65.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 572.07 points lower at 80,891.02, whereas Nifty concluded 156.10 points down at 24,680.90.
